Man,, have you seen any of the recent TV specials of  Criss Angel Mindfreak  ?????????  He can pass himself thru metal walls and concrete... Take a cell phone and smash it into a bottle and then have it ring..,  .,  He used a voodoo doll to cause pain to others by burning and stabbing, and then He told them he was sorry and they could do the same to him using the voodoo doll., in which they secretly stabbed the doll and Criss was then spurting blood from the 'secret areas' they stabbed.. I could go on and on.., But the point is.. If this was the 15th Century He'd be burned at the stake for being a Witch or the Devil.., Or is he some kind of extraterrestrial sent here with Krypton type powers??
I'm surprised the CIA hasn't hustled him off to some area to check him out.., ( Like in E.T. , or Day the Earth Stood Still ...

Not heard of this guy but I do love a good magician/illusionist.

I remember being stunned at David Blaine's street magic when he first appeared, thinking he must be in league with the horned one, only to then watch one of those shows that revealed how some of the tricks were done. Fascinating stuff.

This guy makes David Blaine look like an amateur - unless there are camera tricks used he surpasses anything I have ever seen before.

Anyone seen when he 'floats' between 2 tower blocks, or walks on water, and the latest episode I watched where he was cut in half, seperated by about 15 foot, and had all the audience walk between his two halves????

I reckon there is some alien influence here

He uses all the same techniques and tricks that magicians throughout the ages have used. Camera special effects, post-production effects, forced viewing angles, volunteers that are in on the trick, and assistants acting as amazed spectators.
99.9% of all cat plans consist only of "Step 1."

I bought the first season after seeing an illusion on youtube where he walks though glass. I liked it so much I bought season two when it came out. Some of the illusions and stunts are pretty amazing to watch. Beware though, theres a lot of filler on the dvd sets and some of the illusions and tricks seem similar and it gets kinds repetitive, loosing the amazement value of the initial ones. This seemed more evident when watching season two.
I'm sure your right Grendell on how he does them though, however it is still pretty cool to watch the good ones.
