| Posted: | | | | I've had a couple of updated showing where the profile has had the country added to the release date ? I've not noticed this before. Is this recomended by the rule - I have not found it so far and have and will continue to reject these updates. Comments please . ie The BodyGuard - Special edition now has for production date 1992 United States whereas it had 1992. the field is a date !!!! |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for the info - not sure I agree -but if that is the rule happy to adhere. Have the rules been officially changed - Contributions provide more than their fair share of 'healthy' debate without these issues. Whilst I appreciate the huge transition that has taken place I suggest an offical overhaul of the rules is published asap to mitigate future 'discussions' |

When looking at the movie the Profiler concatenates the 2 fields for easy viewing so it appears as "1992 United States". | | | "Rules are for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men" - Douglas Bader "A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools." - Douglas Adams |

But its a slow process. Just so you are aware, there is a certain amount of contention involved with the Country of Origin thing. You should probably be prepared to run afoul of some users who inevitably will disagree on what the proper CoO is for some titles. Personally, I vote Neutral on CoO profiles. I set that field locally and lock it t what *I* think it should be. | | | John
