| Posted: | | | | I just got The Butterfly Effect and plan on watching it tonight. I've never seen it and don't plan to watch it a second time any time soon. So... with it being a flipper - each side containing a different version of the film - which version do I watch (which is better?) The Director's Cut or the Theatrical Version ? |

| Posted: | | | | I intended to watch it last night... but I didn't. My wife insisted on watching Pan's Labrynth instead. She said she's waited long enough. I didn't really want to, but I enjoyed in anyway. So, I'll probably try and watch The Butterfly Effect tonight. So far it looks like I'll be watching the director's cut. I'll let you know.
Oh... BTW... the colonel in Pan's Labrynth is a very mean man. | | | Last edited: by Erin |

| Posted: | | | | Hhhmmm, I posted on this thread before the site was closed for maintenance and now my post seems to have disappeared Definitely watch the Director's Cut. The Theatrical Cut is the dumbed-down, straightforward version of the movie which had a few scenes removed to simplify the plot for the average audience and has a trash ending. The Director's Cut is more complex and develops the ideas much further; the ending is beautifully fitting. | | | Last edited: by Squirrelecto |
