I've got some DVD's with 15 digit UPC's (Secrets of World War II Collection), but when I try to contribute the profiles I get an error message telling me that the UPC is unrecognizable and that I have to check it.

Do I ignore the UPC and contribute with Disc ID, or is there an alternate way?

5-701862-000782 would be a valid EAN. Could it be that the manufacturer simply added "01" for the first disc? What is the UPC of the other titles? Consecutive numbers?
Could you provide a scan (at least 200dpi) of the barcode? We barcode-scanner-users could give it a run to see what the barcode really consists.

5-701862-000782 is the same on every volume of the collection, so you are probably right in assuming that the '01', '02', '03' and so forth is added as a way to seperate the individual titles in the collection.

Eh - at risk of seeming stupid, but how do I insert an image/scan?

Yes, its an EAN with an extra 2 digits. Usually I would say just ignore the last 2 numbers, as they are (visually and logically) not part of the EAN.
Is this a Boxset of some kind or are the discs sold seperately?
In both cases the addition via DiscID would be the wised course of action. If it is a boxset, the 13 diget EAN could go to the parent-profile.

Thanks guys. I'll just use the Disc ID's for the separate volumes and the 13 digit EAN/UPC for the parent profile then(although the discs are sold separately).
