| Posted: | | | | Is there anyway to run DVD profiler with a USB-UIRT, along with Automation Software such as Girder, allows your PC to both Receive and Transmit infrared signals. It woud be nice to click on a individual DVD in the DVD Profiler database and run a application. You could effectively use this softeware to control the a Sony 400 disc DVD player and would bring this software to another level. http://www.usbuirt.com/ Thanks, Josh |

| Posted: | | | | Version 0.2 of LoadDVD has preliminary support for USBIRT in that it will call a specific .BAT file (USBIRT.BAT in the {DVDPro}\Plugins\LoadDVD folder ), and pass it parameters which you can tailor to meet your needs. The parameters include profileid (UPC), disc# and slot# from the SLOT field.
Let me know what happens if / when you try it out.
Also, I bought one of those gizmos, and it is neat and compact. There is a free java app that allows you to play with it, learn codes, etc. I also just received the API specification from the USBUIRT developer, and I am evaluating the possibility of enhancing the support.
