I have no idea about Russian rating systems, but maybe we have some russian readers on this forum who could help with those. Since we now have Estonia, it would make sence to have Russia too.

I think we should use pre 1991 Production year Former as Soviet Union and post 1991 -->Russia, Estonia etc.

IMHO it only makes sence to add a locality if there are users who need it or we will be having a list with countries nobody uses.

Are you confusing CoO with locality?

Locality = Where DVD is released
CoO = Where the movie was filmed

What i ment was, if you want CoO, Ken wants the info of the locality too (at least in the topic i made) -> they go hand in hand (in DVDP).

It looks like the country names for CoO and locality comes from the same list in DVDP. This is little confusing since now we have eg. an option to choose two Canadas as CoO. I believe that there should be only one Canada as a country of origin eventhough there are two Canadian localities.

The list of available countries in CoO section should be much wider than it is currently. I do not think that eg. Russia is needed as a locality unless there are actual users in Russia or people who buy DVDs from Russia.

And now when talking about countries: I find it confusing when the list of countries are always in English alphabetical order even when you use a translated version of DVDP. However, subtitle languages are listed in the alphabetical order of the translation.
