| Posted: | | | | Hi Guys,
I was using Headsimport, & everything was working fine, until I got to Gina Gershon. An error popped up about MS Paint, and after saying OK to the error, the process stopped. I was importing from Doug's page A - D etc.
After unzipping to c:\heads there are very many files, how do I get around Gina & the error she brings? This process seems to go through all .jpg's in c:\heads. This what takes guess 20 - 30 hours to work through the list.
I'll assume in the future using DVDp when I click cast, the computer will have to access c:heads to get the picture. Is this correct?
After the file is imported from c:\heads is the file still required at c:\heads?
Said another way: c:\alan alda.jpg was imported into DVDp is it still required at c:\heads
To speed the process up can I delete all files c:\head from a.jpg to & including Gina Gershon.jpg then resume with the import. At the end of importing, put back a.jpg to Gina Gershon.jpg
Is there an easier/quicker way around Gina's error?

This is not exactly correct. DVDP will never look aut. in that folder. You will have to drag the pic into the picwindow. Or you can doubleclick the picwindow to open a googlewindow. Quote:

No, you can safely delete that folder or archive it. Quote:

| Posted: | | | | The easy solution is to start up the heads import program, select the next cast member after Gina alphabetically then start the process again. Do not select start from top and it will just resume from that point.
It has been a little while since I ran it so the exact terms used may not be correct but the process is and you will work it out when you try it. I had several "Gina" type problems and got around them all with this approach.
Addictive isn't it? |

| Posted: | | | | You can also open Gina in another application (like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop) and save it back with the same filename. There is something corrupted in that file which prevents it to be opened in MS Paint. |

| Posted: | | | | Hi Guys,
While waiting for your great replies. U did the following.
1) Moved a.jpg to gina.jpg to another folder 2) Re started the headsimport, just after gina, let it run & this AM it finished a) seems to have been much quicker the 2nd time b) I should have figured out the 'start from top' 3) Comodo Boclean thinks the headimport prog is a trojan, I just shut that app down
Thanks a million you guys are great, & many thanks to the folks who put those jpg's & program together, must have been a very tedious project.
