hello!

just curious,... if i look to my online collection on the internet, all the dvd's are there... but when i do synchronise it on my computer, several titles are missing.. setting for adults are allowed, but i don't see many tiltes apearing onto my computer database... weird! even if i re-enter them into my dvd profiler database on my pc, and upload the modified database on the internet and redownloaded them all themissing titles that i just added are missing but are present on the internet..

is there something i am doing wrong here?

I'm a bit confused; you say when you loom all the DVDs are there but then say they're not. Can you give an example of what's not?

BTW, there was a bug with synchronising and numbering which is now fixed BUT you need to upload a blank collection and then re-upload your proper collection to 'force' the fix, if you were affected.

Just create a new database with nothing in it

File -> Open Database -> New Database (name it something like Blank)

Go to that database:

File -> Open Database - Double click on the new (blank) one

Sychronise with your online collection (Upload) which uploads the blank database over your present one. Go back to your main database

File -> Open Database -> Double click on the usual one (usually called Default I think)

and synchronise with your online collection again (Upload), as normal

Lovely!   Thanks.   Now I can ensure that my collection online matches the actual collection. I am convinced that where I have changed localities and EAN's that these are not correctly reflected.

setting for adults are allowed

Make sure it is set in both the program (Parent Control options) and your online MyProfiler settings.

If you have a separate registration for each user, yes.

But otherwise No

Essentially locally you can have lots of databases but you only get one online per registration.

thanks for the answer...

i tried to upload a blank database on the invelos site to "clean up" my missing numbers, but there is always 1 dvd (plus a "0" empty dvd at the beggining of the list) that's stays there... (the other movie is "gone with the wind) even if i upload the blank database....

then i tried to reupload the whole collection, seems to be working out fine, but the old dvd "gone with the wind" is now is double... and the (in)famous "0" at the bottoms is also always there...

and more, when i upload the collection database, it's now says i have "0" titles (all the lines) on my online profile, but when i check on the web, they are still there... weird....

someone have an idea about this problem?

I've tried every suggestion on this topic.  I presently have 2630 DVD's in my collection (so far as I know) but when I try to upload them to Online, I can only upload 2,168, obviously quite shy of my actual collection.  No matter what I do, it will not upload my entire collection.

New bug?

Okay, tried again after the blank DB suggestion.  The correct # of DVD's were uploaded to Online, though the number showing being uploaded was still 2,168, not the 2,630.  Once uploaded I went to look again and all 2,630 were there, though it still said only 2,168 were uploaded.  I absolutely love this program and have used it since it was brand new.  But lately, it's been kind of buggy, time outs, DVD's missing after being added etc.  I've had to confirm my entire collection more than a few times.  Hopefully, this is only a temporary thing going on.

It could be an age restriction thingy. For example, I recently bought Gunpowder Milkshake which is rated 18 in Germany. When you open my list you can find it. When you open my profile, it should be there between Star Trek and Dragonball, but it's left out because Invelos doesn't want to get in any potential trouble with 'adult material'

Also, all my TV show season discs are not online because I specifically chose to exclude them from the online list in the Personalize section of the profile.
