| Posted: | | | | Ok... to explain, I am a train driver, which can be a stressful job...
Well, having worked for an hour more that I should of, I was asked to continue working for another 30 or so mins..... before I could spend an hour travelling back to my home station....
I was not a happy bunny......
So..... I threw my bag from my shoulder.... intending to throw it to the ground in disgust....
But.....
I missed the ground..... and found..... a 8ft by 8ft plate glass window
I nearly got arrested
I have been fined for damage caused
I will have to pay costs to replace.... (total costs I will guess will be £1000 ($2000) approx)
Moral of the story? I am an IDIOT!
Why am I tell you lot?
I dunno, but I am, so there..... Just do not do things like this yourself

Sorry FunkyLA, bad habit, I always turn everything into a joke. I'm sorry you're ending up spending money because your employer is an idiot. Touti That is the way nearly all British employers have become, not only do they want blood for your measely paycheck, they want the stone as well...that about right Graham? Steve |

Welcome to the Idiot club, the last idiot thing I did was speeding down the freeway that one cost me $325.00. Plus a weekend at traffic school. We all make mistakes, & learn from the process. Come on now where's the happy bunny.

| Posted: | | | | That stings, Funky. You're in a service industry, where unfortunately you will get treated like crap. I'm lucky that in my job, my boss asks me to do that little bit extra, but he's got a good memory and pays in kind.
Hey at least no-one got hurt. If it wasn't for the bloody fine, breaking something that big and shiny and not yours would be excellent therapy. Watch Fight Club, and try to feel better ...
All the best,

| Posted: | | | | Funkyla I feel your pain, my boss asked me to work on my wedding day, his reasoning was "your not getting married til the afternoon, you can come in for a few hours in the morning". after getting written up for my reply, my wife now understands why I didn't put co-workers on the invite list. Did you offer to help clean up the mess to help lower the cost? so much for the overtime pay. best of luck hope things work out for you. Dave. |

| Posted: | | | | Sorry to hear what happened to you mate. Sometimes life is a bitch but then a new DVD you were waiting for is released and life is good again. Oh, and that is the point you know you are addicted to DVDs and DVD Profiler of course.

So, that make me less angry huh? That makes no sense. Ask yourself, be honest, when the glass shattered in front of your eyes, you felt better, didn't you? At least about the reason for going loopy in the first place! Breaking things is therapeutic. Learning to avoid breaking things will lead to bottled up stress, leading to dressing up in womens clothing and blaming everything on Mother ... | | | Jon "When Mister Safety Catch Is Not On, Mister Crossbow Is Not Your Friend."
