| Posted: | | | | I bougth this movie used and tried to put it into the profiler but got wrong EAN.. The EAN is strange 8-915652-5171692 I have tried to verify it by some calculators but it is wrong no mather what.. if I dont use the first 8 the last digit should be 3 and if I put out the last number(2) is says the nine should be 0 So I contributed it by Disc ID 8BCE202C74C11FFD [GHOSTWORLD] but it was declined.. No I am wondering if this is a rental, promotion movie or something, so thats the trouble? Its an American/Canadian only DVD with region ALL, says DTS on front but cover but dont in feature... Do rental/promotion DVD in US or Canada have strange EAN? (Dont know how to get pictures in here so ) oleops (gone for this weekend) | | | We are all at the same age, only at different time... |

Sign up for a photobucket account at www.photobucket.com, upload the image to that. Copy the URL link from there then, when making your post here, click the icon second from the right and paste the URL in there. Then click ok. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | I suspected it was a pirate - that is why it was declined. The other trigger to me were the other languages included.

| Posted: | | | | What colour is the data side of the disc itself? If it's not silver, then it's more likely to be a pirate unless the whole disc is coloured the same. If it is silver, it's still possible it's a pirate, but less likely. |

| Posted: | | | | Did it have a DVD 9 logo on the cover? That's a sure sign of a boot I seem to remember. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | That really does look like a bootleg.
The R rating, with the Thai, Chinese etc... languages, is a dead giveaway. Plus the "4 of encoded audio", yes you get typos but that's just a poor translator. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 | | | Last edited: by Lithurge |

| Posted: | | | | The "AC-3" is really suspect as well. That designation is rarely used on legit R1 releases. |

| Posted: | | | | Pictures from the DVD, learned somthing new... This the best made copy I have seen.. But I agre with the AC-3, havent seen that since LD myself. The picture quality is of the better also, so it is not a bad purchase after all. | | | We are all at the same age, only at different time... |

| Posted: | | | | I think you do have yourself a pirate copy there. Looks like a good one though. And if you're happy with the picture quality and it was cheap - lucky you! If you want to add Ghost World to Profiler, do a search by title instead of UPC, but just remember to keep it local! |

| Posted: | | | | Dead giveaway, it's a boot. MGM does not produce Region All titles. See the logo. Why would anyone boot Ghost World? But a boot it is. Skip | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here
