Well... (sorry for my english)

In http://www.mpaa.org/FlmRat_Ratings.asp we can find the description of ratings in wich is based the program.
In http://www.mcu.es/cine/CE/Industria/CalificacionPeliculas.html we can find the spanish ratings (in spainish, of course, and sorry) stablished by the Governmet (Ministerio de Cultura). In Spain only the pornographic films are forbidden to under 18 years. These ratings are only "orientatives".

In order on an effective parenteral control of the DVD collection, thinking in the common criteria of the spanish parents, I propuose the next equivalence:

MPPA rating --> Spainsh rating -->Spanish criteria
G --> TP -->(Todos los Públicos = all audiences)
PG --> 7 -->(not recomendated to under 7 years children)
PG-13 --> 13 -->(not recomendated to under 13 years children)
R
NC-17 --> 18 -->(not recomendated to under 18 years children)
Adult --> Adulto -->(forbbiden to under 18 years)

So, when I stablish the definition of adult tilte selecting "NC-17" I can include in the Adults Titles the films that "...can be excessive violence, sex, aberrational behavior, drug abuse or any other elements which, when present, most parents would consider too strong and therefore off-limits for viewing by their children" .

The parenteral cortrol has three (3) parameters to definied a title as "adult" in english:

Adult
Not Rated
NC-17

And I need 3 correspondences if I want that the parenteral control runs in Spain and in spanish... Somewhere, in the program these correspondences can be edited, and now, the NC-17 rating doesn´t match anything in spanish... If I selecet this option, any title dissapear... (and i have many!)
and the parenteral control doesn't runs anyway because this option isn't relacionated with any of the ratings wich I can choose when I select Spain like default locality.

And in spanish doesn't exist "T" like rating, maybe "TP" (=Todos los Públicos)

Carlos
