For the last few days i tried to open my DVDP 2.0.4 and got no response from the program.
I double click on the icon the interface window is open and 2 or 3 seconds later closes.
I was trying to confirm some information from the old db and now simply can't open the program.

As this mysterious close happened to any one else?
Any suggestions why this is happening?

It's possible the program is opening and moving off screen.  Try holding down CTRL while the program loads.

Try deleting the DVD Profiler section from the registry.  Open regedit, and browse to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\InterVocative Software branch.  Delete the entire DVD Profiler branch from there.

When next you run 2.4, you'll need to reenter your registration information.

Did you have your library backed up either on Harddrive or on the IVS site?

If so, I'd recommend reinstalling the old 2.4 from their site, and then reloading all your titles back in, check all fields and make sure it is running properly and is looking good. Then go back to Invelos site and load up the new 3.03 program and then import your titles over  from that point on stay with Invelos, checking daily to see that it is running properly, then backup your title base again in two places, My profiler / your own harddrive as .dpb  .  You may now safely remove IVS 2.4  ..

Sorry Ken,, It took me a few minutes to compose and didn't know you were responding...

Not to worry - if my suggestion doesn't resolve the issue, yours is the next step I'd recommend.
