I've been trying to make a report in landscape mode rather than in portrait mode. The aim is to print this report to a PDF-file which can be made available for browsing through our collection on all the family member's computers.
Can this be done? I only seem to get a 'portrait' mode report.
Thx
Jo

It looks like at the moment, only portrait pages are allowed.
But you could always post a request in the features request forum.

You could use a A5 sized report and "print" two pages on one A4...

Yes, I've considered that option also, but it's not exactly what I like. Just one item per page, with on one side the desired data and on the other side the cover is what I'm looking for.
The A5+A5 option is more "I want but I can't"... you know, it's possible, but not adequate.

I don't know if this is possible as I haven't tried creating a report, but what if you took SH84's idea and simply arranged it so that "one page" of the report was the data, and the "2nd page" was the images?
Wouldn't that achieve what you wanted?
I know that it's possible to make one report go over two pages as the default reports are US paper size and I'm in the UK so until I decreased the size of the fields, they would often spill onto a 2nd page.

Just create a report with landscape proportions that is still small enough to fit on a standard A4 (or Letter) sheet in portrait mode, e.g. 7.5'  *  5.5'. Add a 2' bottom margin to make sure that only one report fits on a page.

When Profiler generates the report it will create pages that have the profiles in the upper half, the rest of the page is blank. Nothing can stop you from printing the report on a 'sheet' that covers only the upper half of the paper as the lower part isn't printed at all. With a PDF-'printer' you can now either use a user defined page size, e.g. 8' * 6', or you can print in landscape orientation and scale the print up or down (100% for A5, 141% for A4, ~130% for Letter). The latter will also work with 'real' printers and sheets. It is perhaps necessary to play with report sizes and margins to improve the alignment, but with a PDF-'printer' you won't waste any real paper.

While this method gives perfect results, it is nevertheless a workaround and you should perhaps post a feature request.

Thx for the suggestions. I posted a feature request because I feel that it would be useful to have this option without the workarounds.
