| | Posted: | | | | My apology if this has been suggested before as an enhancement but I would like to see the Option to specifiy a default Location, Starting Slot#, and have these fields autopopulated when ADDing a DVD to the collection. Sample default Location: Sony CXP995V-1, or Sony CXP995V-2, could be in the dropdown but autopopulate based upon the "default" speciified. In addition, an Option to specify the starting slot number that would then be auto-incremented when a new DVD is added would be ideal. This would provide for an automated mechanism to automatically catolog where your new DVD(s) is stored. If no default Location is defined, then the Location and Slot remain empty whenever a new DVD is added. Overrides can always be performed with EDIT.
If you want to add a new storage device, just change the default device LOCATION, and reset the baseline slot # to 1, but allow all devices to be selected from the Location dropdown.

Each changer could be designated as "master", "slave1", etc. Also each changer profile could be spec'd with the number of slots available. In the Profiler settings area you could check "prompt for location and slot" so that it would always ask for that info when adding a disk.
