Clear all filters doesn't help, restored from backup, same issue. If I add a filter then clear all filters it causes DVD Profiler to throw an access violation. I'm assuming this means I have a corrupted profile.
I ran the repair tool and it completes without error.
Renumbered the collection and it starts at #2 and runs upto #307.

| Posted: | | | | Fixed it, found the solution in the online section. Basically flagged all filtered files, backup filtered profiles. Create a new DB, restore from backup.
Still get an access violation though when setting and unsetting tags. |

| Posted: | | | | Hmmm, strange....
Uninstall, reinstall. Same issue. Would only happen in list mode when clearing a Tag under filters. Tried different views and didn't reproduce.
Set a different filter (cose crew), cleared it, went back to list and setting clearing flags and all working again.
Mucho weirdness. |

To confirm, only list mode, when clearing a tag causes this. |

| Posted: | | | | This problem happened to me a number of times. I noticed it happens when you choose a new title to add to your collection and the downloading stops for any reason.. error in connection, error in profile being downloaded.. whatever... anyway, when you try adding the title again or a different title the following time, you get that mismatch in counting with it.. If you look more carefully to the database, you will find a number missing in the sorting of the titles too... so there is an "invisible title". The way to fix this - which is to be honest ridiculous but at least it can be solved - is to backup your collection, uninstall the DVD profiler program (and preferably delete all associated files and database with it. then reinstall the dvd profiler again. On restoring the database from the file you just created, note that you will find a blank profile as the first title of the collection. Choose not to restore all profiles.. then press select all to select all your profiles and untick the first title which should be blank. then restore. et voila.... the problem disappears.. sorry for this silly solution but i was going to go crazy with this invisible title and this is the only way I found to fix it.. if someone else has a more "professional" way to fix this, I am all ears! |

| Posted: | | | | The title may be there with an incorrect collection type. Try selecting the "All" category. If it shows there, move it to Owned, or wherever it belongs. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | Hi Ken,
turning off ALL filters and selecting the All list still does not display this title.
you also can not flag the title, because this is how I delete mine when I get them.
Flag all, backup all flagged, create a new DB, restore the backup.
My collect remain free of them for a while, but one always slips back in some where in one of the three lists. | | | Premium member since 29 August 2002 ----

The menu options for "pending" are both greyed out in 302 with this DB loaded. |

| Posted: | | | | Hi Ken,
just as a FYI.....
I currently have one of these "funny" titles in my on-line wishlist, maybe you can learn more about it from that?????? | | | Premium member since 29 August 2002 ----

| Posted: | | | | Thanks Ken,
Checked with the DB and it isn't a pending download (list is empty). I can send you the DB if you'd like a look. Perhaps a new repair feature can be used to fix it?

| Posted: | | | | You have have 'Adult' movies blocked and one title is listed as 'Adult" and it doesn't show up. That happened to me with Road to Perdition. For some reason it is in the 'Adult' genre... same thing with 2001 Maniacs. |
