As far as I could find out, there is currently no way to control DVDP from the command line, right?
I think at least a command line option to create a backup would be useful. This would allow for automated backups using task scheduler...

DVDPro does accept some options to be given by command line.
I remember Gerri speaking of on that would prevent the splash screen (the eye) from being displayed when the program loaded. I don't know which other option are available (if any).

Making backups from commandline would indeed be a nice feature.
In addition with my pet peeve XML-Export from commandline those two functions really could make our lives easier.
