| Posted: | | | | Greetings all. There was supposed to be a collector's edition of Lawrence of Arabia released on May 8. I don't think it was released. Amazon says unavailable, buy.com has a release date of 1/1/2037 (I don't want to wait that long), and I there's nothing at Best Buy or Circuit City. Any one have any info on this or know the reason for the delay?
(FWIW, I bought 3.0 earlier this week after using 2.whatever for a long time. As the risk of sounding like I'm sucking up, what a fantastic piece of software this is. It's been 4 or 5 days, and I already fell like I've received my money's worth. Of course, my family hasn't seen me ...)

I notice that DVD Empire just says "Coming Soon" now. |

| Posted: | | | | Well this IS the FOURTH release of Lawrence on DVD, so I have no doubt that stores were highly motivated to add it to their inventory.....NOT.

| Posted: | | | | Well, it's funny that it originally was supposed to be out in March, then slipped to May, and now no place has a street date on it. Sounds like a studio/distributor problem, I think. |

Bridge on the River Kwai - Postponed Lawrence of Arabia - Postponed Guns of Navarone - Out Caine Mutiny - Out
There's no indication why Bridge & Lawrence were postponed, though. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. I don't have to show you any stinking badges. DVD Profiler user since June 15, 2001 | | | Last edited: by kdh1949 |
