Will there ever be a place to put the "actual" dvd label? You have the cover front and back, how about the disc itself?

Thanks
Sam

I don't see that, personally as particularly interesting, Sam. Not to mention exposing the disc to accidental damage while scanning it.

I agree that this is something I personally wouldn't want... and would never do myself. But as for if we will ever see it... that is totally up to Ken. The most you could do is put it in the Feature Request forum and wait and see what happens.

Just out of curiousity, what would be the point?

And I also wonder if that wouldn't be attracting too much attention from the legal types?  That would make it too easy for someone to not only print our a nice case for the pirated DVDs, but they could also start printing labels for them as well.

Not practical.  What do you do with a double-sided disc that is nothing but silver on both sides?  I've seen a lot of cheaper DVDs that are single-sided that just have a red or blue ring with the name around the hole in the center and nothing at all on the disc surface.

I never said it was practical... matter of fact I said I didn't agree with it... but just like everyone else he has the right to make a feature request for it if he wants to. That is a right I wouldn't even consider taking away from anyone.

If this is still something that interests you... or anyone else for that matter... You can always do it with the image Gallery that xyrano has done such a good job on...

If you would like to do this... GO TO THIS THREAD and go about half way down the first page to find xyrano's code... don't bother with my original code... as even though it did work... it pretty much sucked!

I still say I would never take the chance of scanning the actual disc... but if I find it online I will use it!
