| Posted: | | | | Hi,
yesterday i finally bought a key for DVD Profiler. Till now i just used DVD Profiler 2.4 with a free key and it had been a few weeks since i was on the page. So i was happy to see that there was a new DVD Profiler Version. I wondered where my profile has gone becaused i could'nt log in, so i created a new, downloaded DVD Pro 3 and purchased a key to get the full features of the new version. Excited to finally have a fulll version of DVD Profiler, i converted my old database to the new program. But after this i noticed that many DVD's in the online database where no longer available and i was a bit shocked as i catched up on the whole case of IVS vs Invelos.
I was releaved when i read that the case has been resolved and Ken Cole bought IVS. So here are my 2 questions:
Will it be possible to use your DVD Pro 3 code for the older versions like 2.4 and 2.5? A conversion to 2.4 like the conversion from 2.4 to 3 would be nice. I loved the 2.4 version and would be very dissapointed if i could not use 2.4 allthough i thought to buy the WHOLE DVD Profiler program.
and
Will the old 2.4 /2.5 database be converted to version 3 so all the old profiles can be used again. The old database was huge. Will it just be gone allthough the law issue was resolved and Ken bought IVS? |

| Posted: | | | | I think Ken has also said that 2.x will have a limited lifespan, especially once the databases have been merged. I don't really see any reason why anyone would use 2.x now 3.0 is out (unless they're too tight to pay a measly one-off fee to get the extras!) |
