| | Posted: | | | | I'd like the possibility to leave a reply to a No vote so that both the screeners and other voters can see my response to the vote, since it sometimes happens that the person behind a No vote won't change his/her vote, even if it's incorrect and he/her is explained this in PMs. |

Ken and Gerri are the screeners, and they look at more than just the votes when approving contribution.
One way you can respond to a no vote is to resubmit the profile even if you don't change it, and add to the contribution notes, or state: Resubmitting profile, see contribution notes for full list of corrections. Then add any additional comments after that.
W0m6at, neutral votes are not recorded anywhere in relation to the contribution AIUI. They are only used to remove contributions from your list of unvoted contributions so a comment doesn't have anything to be attached to. | | | | Kevin |

The problem is that no votes still do have an effect - I submitted a title change which received 17 yes and 2 no votes, and they were basing their decision on personal preference. It still got rejected. But when I submitted exactly the same change and got 18 yes votes, the change was approved. So no votes still do have an influence, and a place to add a comment stating why you think a particular vote shouldn't count would be very useful! |

| | Posted: | | | | Well, you have to consider the volume of contributions they look at and realize that sometimes they will make mistakes. If you think a no vote is going to cause the profile to be rejected, try the method I suggested, re-submit with additional "response" regarding the no vote. I missed that Maid in Manhattan thread but it sure is mentioned a lot here.

Nope I reckon that honour goes to the Terminator 2 release that came in both 2 x DVD9 & 1 x DVD18 flavours.
