Maybe this is being done but....
I have a suggestion for the IVS Forum.
In the IVS forum, there is some good, but also a lot of trash there.
I know that there are allot of areas that like I like to check as a reference in filling out profiles. Also, I noticed that there are some people who have some expertise in certain areas. But one thing bothered me (that’s taking it lightly), that in trying find this type of info I had to wade through pages haggling and hate to find that info.

It would nice if a couple of individuals who have comments on certain areas would get together and extract the meat out of those forum strings. It would not be necessary to go back past the time versions 2.4 or 2.5 or so came out.

The first order of business would be to select some categories.
The next step is to find and extract out the hate, garbage, and names..
Edit it down to the so called (hopefully correct) facts of the subject.
Put the results up for comment by the readers of this forum.
Then after some period of time, these comments would edited down and that could be referenced or included in the new rules.

I’m no expert on anything but since reading these DVD forums I damn sure can recognize and strip out the hate and haggling.

Examples: on ---
Studios,
Asian names,
Actors names,
Determining factors about discs: layer, regions numbers, etc.,
Web sites to consult,
or what ever.

Any ideas?
