Ken,
The "My Profiler" looks like  really 2.0ish it would nice to have the update look and feel of the default 3.0 layout on this also.

http://www.invelos.com/dvdcollection.aspx/Randall_Lind

I would love to see the sharp color of 3.0 on my page.

I understand Ken settle with IVS and now owns everything. What I was saying since DVD Profiler has a radical new look then My profiler dvd collection site should also get a radical new look.

I would hope that Ken is considering to upgrade the My Profiler online collection view. I do understand though, that it is not the most pressing matter

I'd also be for an upgrade of some kind for the My Profiler collection view.

This brings to mind what someone (can't remember who) spoke about many eons ago, of some sort of "My Profiler Plus", with extra features, for a (small  ) yearly fee.
But I agree that this is probably down there on Ken's priority list at the moment.

That "someone" was actually Ken.  I wonder if he still plans to circle back around to this idea eventually?

That's a great idea, if it eventually comes about. I would gladly pay a small fee a year for some My Profiler upgrades/extras.

I was saying to my wife only yesterday that having a small annual fee (maybe for extra functionality) would hopefully ensure the future of DVDP much more than relying on always attracting new customers each year as well as be more than reasonable considering the web hosting costs and updates.

Marvellous though it is to have what is essentially free after a (small) initial fee I'd rather be sure that it will still exist in a few years time and feel that anyone who can afford enough DVDs to justify using Profiler can certainly afford $5 a year or so without even noticing the loss, considering the $1000s spent on DVDs by many of us!

I will "me too" on this idea

I only really "woke up" to what it must cost to run this product just before the legal mess happened

I will gladly pay a few dollars a year to keep this going

Also, since we are talking about "my proflier" online - can there be an obvious link to the product page at the bottom of the list - so that visitors can find out about dvdprofier?

Thank you
Signature? We don't need no stinking... hang on, this has been done... blast [oooh now in Widescreen]

The idea of an yearly fee is not unreasonable to me either, a couple of sites that I'm on charge any where from $15 to $ 25 (U.S.) for membership.
