I tried Collectorz.com's software, and they have an export to iPod Notes that is nice,
iPod notes can only handle 100 entries per document, so this program split it up by letter, then if the letters were larger than 100 it split them up even further, into sa-st and su-sz  kind of
With my collection it would take years to make that iPod notes myself.

Their software did it nicely and its still there, but dvd profiler still wins over all that.  Just be a nice addition.

Further update to my previous post on this, yes it can be done but the limit is 8K text file, which if larger split it down into 8K or less chunks.

How about a Word (97-2003 + 2007) document and/or text file. We don't all have Ipods

A simple textfile? Easy as pie: see signature, get the archive and have a look at the csv.xsl and throw away everything but the Title (or Title and DistTrait if you like) and off you go.

Text file would be nice too, but you know you can do that with a report!
Make a custom list report and you're good to go,
iPod would still be an awesome addition

2.5 had an export to .csv function that I used to get my collection list into Excel.  I then sorted by title and then exported the list to MS Notepad.  Unfortuneately 3.0 no longer supports export to .csv .

OMG Yes!  Hadn't really thought of this before.  Ever gone to the video store and NOT remember if you had a movie or not?  This would be great for us iPodders and others could just print out the list.

Well, someone already wrote a plugin to fix that. Just look in the Plugins forum.
But as Mithi said, you can export to XML and convert that into whatever you like, including iPod notes.
