I keep all of my discs in a couple of changers. Don't really need the cases - especially with DVD Profiler!

I don't consider changers a viable option either. With my collection at it's current level, I would need 9 or 10 400 disc changers, too much money in electronics and not practical.

For collection over 500 dvd there no good way to hide it.

The best is to keep them in a safe place. small locker.
(ps. dont move close to a drug effected area & not next door to a pawn store) LOL

Keep the only you want to watch close to your 360 and store away the rest

I use the Disc gear selector 100 Here, it comes with a literature album to keep all the covers in. I have used the personalize section in DVD profiler to keep track of where they are. eg location: Disc Gear 'a' Slot '1' etc.

When I sync my collection with my PDA all i need to do is select the dvd I want to watch and the info is right there.

I have 3 all together, 1 for Music CDs and 2 for DVDs, although I will bee needing to buy a new one soon as I'm running out of room.

ps, if you live in the UK the best place to get them is from QVC.

I custom built a shelf out of 1x8's and 1x2's that is 16 feet wide and 12 feet tall holds all of my 1384 DVD's and has room for another 300 to 400 depending on case format/boxset size. Will post picture once i take one. I'm also thinking of making removable panels on it so it would look like a wall when panels are on. New Release Tuesday is my addiction any treatment available for that?

Btw: Their customer service has always been top notch with me. I have had 2 instances with poor handling by the delivery company and customer service has usually sent out a replacement - same day.

I have all my CDs in five drawers of two of these from Can-Am. The sixth drawer contains all my pre-1929 production year DVDs. They are pricey, but the quality is impossible to beat. Many color selections available.

KFelon – While I can agree that at a dollar a sleeve it is not the most economical, when you can compress 50 DVD’s into the space of 10 it quickly becomes one of the most “Inconspicuous DVD Storage” ideas for your collection. And as my Wife agreed to a 55” Mitsubishi Rear projection TV on the ground, and a 9’ Front projection screen that motors down from the ceiling in front of it, along with all my speakers and shakers, she drew the line at my growing collection of DVD’s mounted on the walls. Myself, I would have displayed them from end to end but alas, I think I made out on the deal. Plus this keeps the Living room looking tidy, the Wife happy, and me basking in Movie Nirvana. (I do also have one shelf that I keep my Box Sets on for display in my office)

As far as the empty cases, most are generic and I donate them to local churches to use for mailing members DVD’s of services when they can’t attend. I suppose I could even get them to write a donation receipt for tax purposes but I don’t. Few cases are special enough to keep but those and any case sleeves I put in a box and store in the attic.
