| Posted: | | | | I have the old DVDProfiler 2.4 running with two seperate databases (I want to keep "normal" movies and anime-series seperate!) therefore I installed the program twice each with it's own database. Is this still possible with 3.0?? I installed it twice in different directories but they seem to share the db so I can't run them seperately! |

In 3.0 you can have multiple collections and you only need to install the program once. Follow goodguy's directions and just create a new DB. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | Is it possible two upload both db's online in one account or do you need seperate accounts to display them?
Is it possible to run two accounts with one unlim. registration key? |

| Posted: | | | | Each account has only one DB showing online. So in order to show two different databases online at the same time, you would need 2 separate accounts. One unlimited registration will give you one DB online.

| Posted: | | | | Another problem with my second db... every time I switch back to my first db, the second one loses the hires covers, which then have to be updated again. Is there a solution to this? |

Is there a solution to this? This doesn't happen to mine... check the default options in Tools to see if something there is confusing it, but once once Db has hi-res images downloaded and stored on your drive it can't lose them just because you decide to look at another Db. | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

Is there a solution to this? all the covers are stored in the separate databases - i.e. each has its own version of the covers. so just switching can't lose anything. Did you try backing up each separate database and then restoring each database? (make sure you call them different names it defaults to using the same name) | | | Paul |

I have separated the collection into different sets. Click on the 'owned' at the top and you can see other selections I have created. Note - all the dvds are in a single database. | | | Paul | | | Last edited: by pauls42 |
