Probably with a scanner and a contribution of your better scan to the online DB...

Do you have an UNLIMITED registration or a LIMITED one?  If you have a LIMITED registration you don't get HIGH RESOLUTION images.  If you have an UNLIMITED registration but still only have low res images, check to see how your Profiler is set up

Check Tools > Options > Display.  There's a set of radio buttons for DVD Cover Image Quality:

  • Standard

  • High Quality

  • Click on High Quality if it isn't already checked. You may still have to refresh the images from the main database: (Online > Refresh All Images).

Hope this helps - or if I've said something wrong someone else will correct me.

What kdh1949 said ... except, just to make it 100% clear, if it is still a Low Res image then that is the one in the main database. As detlefs implies, as this is a user built database and nobody else has contributed better then that's what you get.
If you scan the cover and contribute then after that everyone will have a hi-res image available to them, the same way other users have scanned covers and enabled you to have them available.

It would appear that any title he clciks on is low res., so it would not be an issue of rescanning.
