| Posted: | | | | A parent profile holds the information as to what child profiles are attached to it. But do the child profiles have the parent data in them? I ask this because there is no way to group movies together outside of sort names or manually created boxsets. If I create a manual boxset to group some movies together, I want to make sure if I contribute changes for a movie it doesn't say BTW I am part of manual boxset #13. Does that make sense? | | | Schultzy - http://www.michaelschultz.net grenactics - The art of skillfully fraggin one’s opponent with the use of grenades or other compact explosive devices that are thrown by hand or projected. |

| Posted: | | | | I think I understand the question, and no, child profiles do not know they are a child of the parent. The just think they are little orphans, like all of their friends.
Please sir, may I have some more? | | | Kevin |

| Posted: | | | | They do know they're children, but they forget it when they write themselves out (as in to a contribution). Which is an entirely esoteric point. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative | | | Last edited: by Ken Cole |

Ken, are there plans to add a feature for grouping DVDs via dividers or containers in a future release? | | | Schultzy - http://www.michaelschultz.net grenactics - The art of skillfully fraggin one’s opponent with the use of grenades or other compact explosive devices that are thrown by hand or projected. |

I've searched the forum but can't find a quick answer to this question:
Is there any way to automate the addition of child profiles to my collection when I add a parent? Or do I also have to add all of the children profiles to my download queue? It sure would be convenient to do it all in one fell swoop. |

Perhaps, some Monday , the program will prompt the user to add available child profiles. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |
