So i Have the older version of Dvd Profiler, and have not updated to the new one yet. 
My current collection is: http://www.intervocative.com/dvdcollection.aspx/childam123.  as you can note is hosted by intervocative.com.  will the new version be a different link?  it is just different that there are two different domain names.

And now that we have two different companies, how do i transfer my collection from the old version (intervocative) and the new version (invelos)

Yes new collection url and to transfer you load the new program and backup from old program and restore into new program. Easy.

So do i backup the database, and then totally uninstall version 2.4/2.5  and then reinstall version 3.0?
or can i do backup, and then just install over it?

You can install and use them in parallel.

You do not need to uninstall the old version. But you can. What I wouldn't do is to install the new version over the old one. But the default installation path for the new version is different anyway.
