| Posted: | | | | Don't worry, I haven't gone completely loopy! It's just that I know how much we all loved entering in hundreds of barcodes when we first got Profiler. Now we can do it all over again with Library Thing I've only got about 1000 books, so it'll pass a bored afternoon... I haven't looked into it too far, but it seems both simple and quick, steadily forming an online index of your books. It instantly tells you how many other members also own that title and you can search public collections, add comments, etc. The bad news is you can't edit profiles. The good news is you can't argue about profiles! It picks up the data from various sources that you select and that's it. I'm not kidding when I say it's quick. I loaded the site to see what it was like, created a login (by, erm, logging in) and added three books in about 30 seconds. | | | Jon "When Mister Safety Catch Is Not On, Mister Crossbow Is Not Your Friend."
