| | Posted: | | | | I've noticed several profiles recently in which there are numerous cast listings for 'archival footage (uncredited)'.
This is something that makes absolutely no sense. How can you credit a piece of film used as background footage or as a picture on a TV which is a prop on the set? You can't give a credit to something that isn't alive, that isn't human.
All such entries should be removed wherever and whenever they are found. It's bad enough leaving uncredited stuff for no-name extras without compounding things by giving credits to non-existent actors. | | | John

I agree on the removal of the archival footage, it really shouldn't be there. One profile I saw recently had Adolf Hitler listed... uncredited, however, should remain, which you do.
