Was wondering if it was possible to add a third image for each DVD being the whole cover with spine.

I have no issue with this being private (and not uploaded), I just want to display the custom covers I use with the originals so I can remember which is which.

What I did in the old version was to replace the Front image with the Font and Back images and use the Back image for the custom cover.  I would prefer to keep DVDProfiler as designed and add custom bits to it.

Cheers

No Moon, the spine is not allowed for legal reasons. You are allowed to store the covers in local database anyway you wish, however.

As for custom covers, remember the Artwork is the property of the Studios and there are several sites that specialized in Custom, Cover which have been shut down by Hollywood for violating copyright. So...............keep it local.

Skip, he made very clear that he wants to keep it local. He is simply requesting a field where he can put it.

No no no no no no

Online NO
My PC Yes.

But yes, an additional field to handle graphics would be great.

I don't think the spine itself is a copyright issue, any more than the front or back scan, it's probably more that if you have the whole thing, it can be argued that you are facilitating piracy, or something like that.

As for your custom images, I guess you could use an HTML windows, and build a URL from the provided variables within DVD Profiler that would point to the appropriate image, kind of like what they are doing for the EPG in another thread, only you'd be doing it to an image.

Yes, I would have told him the same, RossRoy.
On the other hand, he could just create (or use) a skin which uses a gallery like Roolku's (or mine of course) and simply add the picture to the gallery folder.

The gallery folder is a special folder, that holds gallery items like title screens, screen shots, posters, trailers and so on for a single movie.
