"For English titles do not capitalize joining words such as "of", "the", "a", "in", etc. unless they are the first, last or only word in of the title. "Lord of the Rings" is correctly capitalized. "Lord Of The Rings" is not. "The Matrix"
I believe from would be a "joining' word.

| Posted: | | | | Actually From is an action word it is what they are doing at Sobibor, they are escaping from it. It is not Escape of Sobibor which I would agree would not require capitalization. The from is the actual action of what is happening at the site. |

| Posted: | | | | Actually the Rules need to be slightly modified. "Joining" words (otherwise known as conjunctions) are words like "and", "but", "or" and the like.
"From" is a preposition, not a "joining word", but generally speaking prepositions are not capitalized in Titles. However, there are exceptions for longer prepositions of more than four letters such as "Above". There are always exceptions in the English language. | | | Hal |

| Posted: | | | | Not trying to be difficult here ... but what if the actual title on the DVD shows the beginning letters of all the words in capitals? What if ALL the words are capitalized?
Ones that have me wondering are:
2 Days in the Valley ... cover shows 2 days in the valley
20,000 Leagues Under The Sea ... cover shows 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA
These are only a couple of examples ...
Just want to know how these should actually read. | | | Antec Nine Hundred case, 4GB A-Data DDR2 800 RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 Conroe 2.66GHz, ASUS P5K-E/WIFI-AP MB, XFX GeForce 8600GT XXX 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 video card, ZALMAN CNPS9500 AT 2 Ball CPU Cooling Fan/Heatsink, Seagate Barracuda 320GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s HDD, Zerodba 620W PSU, LITE-ON 20X DVD±R DVD with LightScribe SATA, Samsung CDDVDW SH-S203B SATA, Hanns-G HH281 28" monitor, Kodak ESP3250 printer, Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers, Windows 7 Professional | | | Last edited: by mwkirchner |

| Posted: | | | | I guess as I look over more of the DVD's ... it is obvious that moretimes then not the titles are ALL capitalized.
Guess it is best to do like what was mentioned above ... meaning ...
The Lord of the Rings ... not ...
The Lord Of The Rings ... or ...
THE LORD OF THE RINGS. | | | Antec Nine Hundred case, 4GB A-Data DDR2 800 RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 Conroe 2.66GHz, ASUS P5K-E/WIFI-AP MB, XFX GeForce 8600GT XXX 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 video card, ZALMAN CNPS9500 AT 2 Ball CPU Cooling Fan/Heatsink, Seagate Barracuda 320GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s HDD, Zerodba 620W PSU, LITE-ON 20X DVD±R DVD with LightScribe SATA, Samsung CDDVDW SH-S203B SATA, Hanns-G HH281 28" monitor, Kodak ESP3250 printer, Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers, Windows 7 Professional |
