I currently experience a lot of errors on downloading pictures for DVDs/Blurays
Those are mainstream movies like "Batman vs Superman" where pictures should be available.
I already backupped  the database without pictures, created a new one, imported the backup and downloaded all pictures. Still a lot of errors.
Some of then can be downloaded by Online\Refresh DVD from Invelos\Refresh Images only
Some not.
How can I troubleshoot this?

Can you give an example UPC/EAN so someone else can check if the image's available in the first place?

Of course. Here are some EAN that do not work:
4-010884-253917 - Transformers
8-436022-293915 - Caligula
4-030521-733817 - BAd Teacher
4-010884-355505 - Gi-Joe
4-010232-052728 - MASH Season 4

I just saw that in all those cases the complete profile is missing as well, now. It seams that the EAN I once inserted when the DVD was added to the database, does not exist any more or has changed.
I could add it again by name, but then the collection number would change. But I need the number unchanged for inventory purposes.

I just tried to add the MASH Season 4 by name ("M*A*S*H: Die komplette Season 4") and got an error adding the disc:  "Unable to download file. Continue anyway"

I checked another BluRay
"Transformers: Ära des Untergangs". The EAN on my disc is "4-010884-253917"
This EAN can not be found in the Invelos database any more. So I guess this is the reason for the error. When I search for name I only can find the EAN "4-010884-252924" and "5-053083-119218"
So my EAN which worked when I added it in 2021 is gone.

But also here is an issue: I deleted the Transformers disc from the database and try to add the one with EAN 4-010884-252924. And again I get the error  "Unable to download file. Continue anyway"
When I press "yes", nothinmg happens - the disc is not added.

The only profile that actually worked was 4-010884-253917 - Transformers which is in the database with covers.

The other 4 do not appear to exist in the database

I tried to add the original EAN (the one you tried).
I get "unable to download...Do you want to continue"
When I press "yes", nothing happens

So I did it again
This time I pressed "no"
Then it asked me if I want to see the trouble shooting page. I said "no"
Then it asked me if I want to try again to download. "yes".
This time it worked.

WFT?

Should this be the way to download missing pictures from 30 or 40 discs?
I looks like a serious bug in the software doesn't it?

What you can try is the following: Close DVDP. Press WIN+R so that the "Run" ("Ausführen") command opens. Type

Quote:

%localappdata%\DVD Profiler

and press OK. Rename (or delete) "OnlineList.dod" and "OnlineListSel.dod"

Restart DVDP. It will then re-download the basic infos about all online profiles. Those files have nothing to do with your own database, so you don't need to worry about that.

Oh great. I'll give it a try. Allthough I meanwhile have manually organised the missing pics..
