IT Original Title?

Question that I'm not really sure about even after reviewing the rules. After an intro at the beginning of the movie IT, there is a graphic that reads IT. At the end of the movie, it says IT: Chapter One.

Is saying this at the end of the movie (before the credits) enough to constitute an Original Title.

Although it's immaterial to this decision, the sequel is called IT: Chapter Two, so the symmetry would certainly be there.

Not in the case where there's a title at the beginning of the film. I would think the first title you see when watching the film would be The Original Title.

I assume you are referring to the US produced film "IT" (2017).

When in doubt for original title of American produced films, I always double-check the title found in the film's copyright registration and film's CARA rating registration.

In both instances, the film's original title was "IT". Hope that helps.
