IFC Scream Factory releases have reversible covers.  For the title I added, Pyewacket, I used the cover that faced out when I bought it.  The title that was already here, The Hallow, the contributor used the cover that came on the inside of my copy.  What is DVD Profiler policy on that?

The rules about Cover Images are quite clear about it.

Quote:
The inner sleeve may be used in lieu of the front cover as long as the only difference is the exclusion of sticker(s) or rating overlays.

On a side note, given the several questions, you have asked: Please read all the Contribution Rules, which in most cases you will find the answer.
If you can't find it or something is still not clear enough (and yes, there are some things that can be a challenge), we will be more than willing to help. After all, this is a forum and program run by and for movie collectors. ;-)

I wish someone would explain "source rectangle is invalid."  That's nowhere on there.

To be honest, I have never seen this message.
And I already have submitted quite a few cover images.

If you could provide us a step-by-step with pictures or even with a small movie clip, what you do exactly and what all your working conditions are (system configuration, scanner configuration, and perhaps the DVD Profiler configuration as well), perhaps we can help you with this done even better.

In this case I took the cover sheet out of the case and scanned it all at once because a price tag is being a nuisance.  In this case I had to rotate it clockwise and crop it, and even at that, the scanner seems to have cropped off the very bottom of the image (I've noticed a tendency of my scanner to crop the right edge of many of my submissions, too).

In the case of The Hallow, it seems it was originally sold with a slip cover that mine did not have despite being bought new (it was, however, on the discount rack at a Rite Aid).  When I saw the image large enough to see the hole for the UPC, I aborted my contribution.

I can't open the capture.

Could you please embed it here in this thread?

You have to press the "Image" button right above the message and then you add it.

I went to Google photos, hit share, hit "create link," copied the link, and pasted using the insert image option.  I don't know what to do to make it display when upload isn't an option.

The picture still could not be shown within your post, but when copying the direct image link and embed it here, we finally could see the picture normally, like you see here.

Anyway, on to the issue, what kind of scanner are you using (make/model) and on which Windows version are you working?
Do you already use the latest scanner driver?
And how exactly are you scanning the covers, step by step?
