| Posted: | | | | There are numerous releases for films (official and unofficial entries) in the Ip Man martial arts series, however they are a mess when it comes to capitalization in the title. Is it "IP" with both capitalized or is it "Ip" with just the "I" capitalized? It's 50/50 whether the titles are or aren't for the ones already in the database. Trying to make them uniform for all releases | | | Never judge a movie by its sequel or remake |

That said, IMDB and Amazon all list it as "Ip Man" which implies that it is "Ip". The original title is "Yip Man" |

If anyone contributes it or it gets auto-filtered to anything else - it's wrong. | | | Last edited: by ateo357 |

I can't download the program to my new computer so I couldn't check - that is hysterical. I was refering to the online capitalization tool in the rules. No need to use the program. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar | | | Last edited: by GSyren |

I don't think it ever worked correctly. ex - THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY = The GOOD, the BAD and the UGLY | | | Last edited: by ateo357 |

| Posted: | | | | The note for the tool says "Enter the title capitalized per AP style to test." It also seems to work OK if you enter everything in lower case.

| Posted: | | | | What confuses the issue is this statement in the rules: Quote: Check capitalization of the title. which can be taken to mean that the title should be entered exactly as capitalized. Now, I personally don't think that's what Ken meant, but it's not clear to me exactly what he meant. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |
