| Posted: | | | | This must have been discussed before, but I can't find anything.
Releases from Powerhouse Films / Indicator are variously entered with either Powerhouse Films or Indicator as media company. It would be nice to have some concistency. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | Indicator is not a company, it's merely the name of a series of releases, like "Shout Select". So Indicator is the edition here, while Powerhouse Films is the media company. | | | Last edited: by T!M |

That was my understanding, too, but I have been reluctant to make that change when I'm auditing profiles, without knowing how the majority feels. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. | Posted: | | | | I'm not a huge fan of the edition field (it seems redundant to me, but I realise that other people may differ), but Indicator should quite clearly be the Edition, and Powerhouse in the Media Companies field. We could really do with a consensus on the price too, because they're all over the shop. (I thought RRP for the standard editions was £14.99, £21.99 for the limited editions, £29.99 for the boxed limited editions like the upcoming Road Games and the already released Night of the Demon and Force 10 From Navarone) and then more for the large box sets.) I do try to be as thorough as possible when I audit profiles. I follow the rules to the best of my ability, even those that I disagree with. The situation with Powerhouse / Indicator is a bit special since almost all releases from Powerhouse Films that I have seen have the Indicator moniker on the front, and in non-Profiler circles they are almost always refered to as Indicator releases. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. I have noticed this before, in a podcast I listen to they always call them Indicator releases. (I guess in this it's a bit like Arrow Films and their Arrow Video brand...) | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |
