Stages of Pressure Ulcers
1st stage : Discomfort and pain, 2nd stage : Skin loss and skin may be swollen, 3rd stage : Bone infection with skin and tissue loss. Pressure ulcers often form on the skin covering bony areas of the body. Such as the black, tail bone, hips, elbows, heels and ankles. Our aim to prevent infection, improve wounds care and improve patient comfort. Consult a health care professional for proper treatment.

At foot and wounds, with years of experience, our goal is to help our patient achieve optimal foot health and regain their independence and confidence.

Pressure ulcers progress through different stages. In the 1st stage, there's discomfort and pain. By the 2nd stage, you may notice skin loss, and the area can become swollen. In the 3rd stage, the damage becomes more severe, potentially leading to bone infection, along with skin and tissue loss. These ulcers commonly develop on skin that covers bony parts of the body, like the back, tailbone, hips, elbows, heels, and ankles. My main focus is to prevent infection, enhance wound care, and ensure the patient’s comfort. It’s always best to consult a healthcare professional for the right treatment approach
