Quote: And since ken told us to add alternate disc IDs to the main profile I understand why Pete wants to do what he has done. No he didn't. From rules: "Do not include any Disc IDs on the main profile - these are listed on each of the individual profiles" Actually that is for box set rules Kulju... not TV Series rules which is a different set of rules. Disc IDs do go in the main profile for TV Series. Which is what this thread is about. A TV Series. | | | Pete |

Per rules you have to create new child profiles which matches with your discs. |

| Posted: | | | | And that is what I am waiting to hear back on Ken from... as I still feel this may or may not be the case. So I am holding off (contributions withdrawn)... waiting for an answer before I do anything. And I personally think that is a fair thing. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I am still waiting for an answer to my support ticket. Just means I will not make any type of contribution for these till I get an answer from Invelos one way or the other. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | This problem has surfaced again recently on another box set's ID-based child profiles. Has Ken ever replied on the issue? | | | Corey |

| Posted: | | | | Nope... I never got any type of reply. I will post to the support ticket again and see if I can get an answer. I basically decided that if I don't get an answer then I just won't update those profiles that it effects. | | | Pete |

I also discovered another anomaly on this other box set's ID child profiles I mentioned above. Apparently the alternate Disc ID's have different region coding than the original issued discs had in the box set. Those were "Region 2" locked, where these newer alternate Disc ID's have "No Region Coding" | | | Corey |

| Posted: | | | | But the question is... is the profiles correct at it being locked on region 2... or did they just take that info from the back cover... and the discs are actually "no region code"? It could just be that the regions were never verified and updated (depending on the notes of the set). | | | Pete |
