I'm in shock.

I agree with Skip.

Having patience with Ken has paid off for us repeatedly -- when no development was occuring, we, in our impatience, created websites to complain -- they were fun, but ultimately useless when Invelos was formed, recreating the strongest DVD Profiler yet.

Yay, patience!
If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

Is there any chance we can sign up for an email update when the iPhone app hits? I don't want to be a month behind the rest of the community because I forgot to check this page!

I like the idea of the iPhone development except that I would like the data to be held on the iPhone as I travel abroad alot and therefore do not wish to use the internet on data roaming (costs an arm and 3 legs).

Thanks a lot to everyone.
Superb software
I Just love it.

One feature though which would be greatly appreciated would be to have a listing of dvd serie missing
To explain  this better if you have as an exemple Alien 1 only then your are missing all the other one.

Best regards and thanks

Ken, if it's not too much to ask, could we have a brief overview or comparison of the scheduled features for:
- DVD Profiler iPhone version
- DVD Profiler Mobile (for Windows Mobile) next update?

Most importantly, I read that iDVDP would be 'read only' at first, so I would like to know if you consider it possible that future updates would allow us to makes small changes (notes, viewed by, review, etc) and then sync with our DVDP, without using the Internet? That's one of the cool features I currently like (and use) on my DVDp Mobile.

For now I use DVD Profiler Mobile on my old Pocket PC, but I'm planning to get a smart phone in the near future, either an iPhone or a Windows Mobile 6.x phone (HTC probably). The DVD Profiler features I'll be able to use on either platform is one of the criteria that will help me decide and as such, a comparison between the two (one to be released, the other what will be in the next update) would really help in this regard.

Thanks in advance!

I'll save you the trouble: get an iPhone, but wait until after June 8.

Ken already said why he is NOT giving a release schedule, see the first post in this topic:

If you don't see a release schedule here it's because we're not yet ready to predict one, so please don't ask.  Release date predictions tend to get software developers in trouble.

Just to be clear on the matter, I'm not asking for a release date, but for an advance heads-up on the future specs for both the iPhone version and the Moblie version, as this will help me decide on my next cell phone (either a iPhone or WM6.x smartphone)

Any particular reason why? Is a new iPhone version due out by that date?

As always wi9th Apple: "Rumor has it..."

On June 8 begins the Apple event during which usually announcements of new stuff will surface.

Rumor is, that among others a new iPhone version may have a better camera...
