I'd like to point out that I had already edited my post to remove that before I read yours, not after... As you well know, English is not my native language. I try my best, but yes, I will make mistakes from time to time. If you want to take this discussion down to the level of criticising my spelling or my choice of words, you're welcome to it. However, I'm just going to take that as a sign that you don't have an actual answer... |

| Posted: | | | | Actually it's not a creation of a word, it is a word. ar·gu·men·ta·tion Pronunciation[ahr-gyuh-men-tey-shuhn] –noun 1. the process of developing or presenting an argument; reasoning. 2. discussion; debate; disputation: The lengthy argumentation tired many listeners.3. a discussion dealing with a controversial point. 4. the setting forth of reasons together with the conclusion drawn from them. 5. the premises and conclusion so set forth. Looks like a great word to me! I really like the example of how to use it shown in #2 | | | Last edited: by lyonsden5 |

Just out of curiosity, I looked up the word argumentation and this is what I found. Main Entry: ar·gu·men·ta·tion Pronunciation: "är-gy&-m&n-'tA-sh&n, -"men- Function: noun 1 : the act or process of forming reasons and of drawing conclusions and applying them to a case in discussion 2 : DEBATE, DISCUSSION | | | Dan |

Technically it's not, the only reason I voted no (on a different profile) was because the "credited as" feature was already in place and was going to be removed. If those people voting no can't provide evidence that "credited as" is the best way to go for whoever is involved then they are voting against the rules. Have you contacted either of them to see why they want "credited as" used? |

| Posted: | | | | To all who have participated in this discussion with Skip. This apears to be one of those instances where he is arguing a point even though he doesn't agree with it, just to see who will argue with him (yes, he has openly admitted this) He has just submitted an upadte to Perry Mason where he has taken it upon himself to assign a common name. Cast and crew data edited and Ordered per Actual show credits and per Rules-As Credited Using Episode Dividers
Note: Kenneth R. MacDonald [Kenneth MacDonald] as Judge determined by a different credit used in another Episode, determined to be the same person via screen caps and slected the more formal name to be the Common Name I'm not saying he's right or wrong. Personally I'm glad to see him using the program features as Ken has designed them. Just pointing out that while he is insisting everybody wait till Ken comes up with a standard he himself has made a common name decision. (With no documentation I should add.... but that's a different matter). Stop wasting your time arguing with someone who admittedly does it just to argue. I can only guess he gets some type of pleasure out of it. EDIT: Make that 2 times he made the decision (another profile was submitted while I posted): Quote: Cast and crew data edited and Ordered per Actual show credits and per RuleAs Credited Using Episode dividers Note: Edwin Jerome [Ed Jerome] as Judge Conflicting data caused by appearance in another episode with a different credit. Determined by comparing screen caps to identify Edwin as Ed. Used more formal name for Common name. Again, not saying he's right or wrong, just point out he is not practicing what he is arguing for. Since he does think it's OK to use the system and decide on your own what the common name should be all of his arguments are false. | | | Last edited: by lyonsden5 |

Skip But not Cool Rick.. your definition was just plain rubbish! In all fairness, all three of us were typing that at the same time and none of us saw the other's post until after we completed ours. | | | Dan | | | Last edited: by Dan W |
