| Posted: | | | | I've compared the two releases and the Aussie one is a direct port over of the U.K.; down to the menu design! I'll keep my U.K. release, already given Aussie version away to a friend of mine.

| Posted: | | | | Oh no! JB's have got hundreds of dvd's on sale for $6.98ea This is going to take some willpower to resist...
So all you Aussies, what interesting stuff you thinking about for this year? I can't seem to find any decent movies coming out in the near future. | | | Last edited: by Parsec |

| Posted: | | | | Lifeforce is already out in Italy on blu-ray.
It's under the title Space Vampire. It's in our database. Looks like there's only a DD Stereo english track though.
As for the US one - it looks great; but Shout Factory seem to Region Lock most of their releases; so I won't hold my breath that I'll be able to import that one. |

| Posted: | | | | Hmm.... Sidrat posted in the what blu-rays have you bought this week. Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn - All Regions - Released: 30/12/1899 - Widescreen 2.40:1 (nice release date btw..) So where's the profile? <G> went out and bought this today expecting to have a nice profile all done for me and... nothing! <sigh> Btw, anyone noticed that Sanity's online website have now started to mirror or even better (in some cases) JB's prices and specials for BD/DVD etc? Seems to be worth a look. They also have a reward system on purchases. |

| Posted: | | | | I haven't done the halo 4 profile as I don't. Have a blu-ray drive! The blue I have done have been courtesy of my brother who has a blu-ray drive in his computer. He adds it to his profiler, backs it up, gives it to me in a flash drive and we're done. | | | In the end; Winning is the only safety. Kerr Avon Blakes 7 Series 4, Ep. Blake. |

| Posted: | | | | Sanity has given me some good deals of late. Last Christmas was good as they had a 20% sale which included their 4 for $50 BD items. |

| Posted: | | | | [sarcasm mode: on] Disgraceful.. what a shocker.. I was stunned..... Went to add "The King is Dead!" to dvdp and what did I find.. no profile. It is such a shame the Aussies here don't support their own film industry and purchase these..errr...stunning titles. Especially W0m6at, since this thing was filmed in Adelaide (that should wake him up, he's been quiet) Actually the only profile I could find for this was a lone one done in the USA.. and that wasn't much more then a placeholder. It says on the cover "The best Australian film of the year", yet no Aussies in our little dvdp community has a copy... I'm not sure I'm looking forward to actually watching it now - thank god I got it cheap ($8 blu-ray) | | | Last edited: by Parsec |

Lifeforce is coming from Arrow Video in September in both keep case and steelbook edition. So just wait for the Region B. I have a couple of Arrow releases, and they all look pretty amazing. Anyway, The King is Dead doesn't look like my kind of thing. If we're talking SA content, definitely keen on some of that, but only stuff that suits my taste. Wastelander Panda looks awesome (probably gonna take the plunge on the Blu-ray soon) and I'm pretty excited for Danger 5: Series 2! I also know that Deck Dogz was partly filmed in Adelaide despite being set in Sydney - sections of North Terrace are obvious. I need to watch it again, because it turns out one of my friends was an extra (student at "H anley" High). | Posted: | | | | The King is Dead! is definitely Adelaide - I actually thought the "King's" house was your place It's actually not as bad as I thought it was going to be.. watched it tonight. Worthwhile for the $8 I spent, wouldn't be at it's RRP though. |
