Just get rid of the rest of the documentation and you should be ok. I would write: "Title taken from front cover and adjusted capitalisation according to the rules." |

Thanks for those bits of feedback. It's clear to me now that, even though I applied valid rules in changing the title, I made the mistake of supporting my claim through invalid means and therefore muddying the issue. I've changed the contribution notes accordingly: "Title as taken from the front cover, with standard capitalization rules applied." Now maybe we can get somewhere. | | | One man's rip-off is another man's homage. |

| Posted: | | | | Discovering this thread for the first time at page 5, I went to check and see how I'd voted on this one but I saw nothing. The UPC for this title I have is 024543-172574 (Collector's Edition). Has this thread been all about a different edition? |

Quote: We can either do an exact copy of the printing and enter "i, ROBOT" into the title field. However, applying this approach will lead to numerous necessary changes in other profiles, rendering such profiles either useless (regarding easy searchability through the title field) or nonsensical (all uppercase, random changes of upper and lowercase and so on).
search is not case sensitive.
-Agrare I wasn't referring to this here titel (i, ROBOT) but to others such as "L4yer Cak3", "S1m0ne", "X III" and the (in)famous "Batman" and "Pi" when I mentioned uselessness for a title search. Maybe I wasn't clear enough on that. | | | Lutz |
