So, here is my list.  These are only the complete, or mostly complete sets I've got.  I'm not including shows where I only have a small part (Alfred Hitchcock Presents, for instance, I only have the 1st season, and I only have the first two discs of Chicchana Yukitsukai Sugar)  I've broken the list up, based on the debate above as to what counts as a TV series.

I used to have many more TV series, but I realized I'd never have time to watch them (after the debacle of trying to watch Lost during the beginning of the year) so I traded most of them in at my shop.  I didn't touch the anime, and it far outnumbers everything else in television series.

I currently have 88 complete TV series. I still need to get the final seasons of "The Rockford Files" and "Family Ties"...don't know why I've never completed those two .

I stopped collecting "Gunsmoke" and "Rawhide" when the greedy studios starting splitting the seasons into two separate releases to gouge us even more .

Reason why you haven't completed Family Ties...? Seasons 6 and 7 haven't been released yet...

Right you are...duh. Knew there had to be a reason . Season 5 was released over 2 years ago. What could possibly be the hold-up on Season 6?

Good one. I will concede on “The Prisoner”. Although not intended as a continuing series, it was extended due to its popularity in the UK. It was a great show and, in my opinion, could have gone on longer had they developed the characters further and delved more deeply into Number 6’s past. In some conflicting interviews CBS had wanted anywhere from 26-36 episodes.

I have no idea how many TV shows I own and I'm afraid to look!

Series/Seasons are the same difference to me so I don't differentiate between them.

Whether TV shows or films, I do want my collection to be complete.

Want to add to your completed TV shows/series, watch for and check out these lists of of TV series that ended or were cancelled in the years 1999-2011.

click

I could not believe the number.
Just imagine how many TV series ever, but then the number of TV stations also boggles the mind.

I actually really enjoyed this. It came to my attention quite a while after it had been cancelled so I resisted buying it. But eventually picked it up for £5!
Thought they did a great job. Shame it was cancelled.

I tried to write up what I have, but it's too hard to distinguish between miniseries and ongoing series that didn't last long, especially when you are talking about British or Japanese shows.

I was going back and forth on whether or not to include this in the list since it isn't store bought... but figured what the heck... is still part of my DVD Collection...

Thanks to a friend giving me his recordings off the Chiller Channel (I really wish Comcast would get that channel!)... I now have every episodes of...

Werewolf
Eric Cord (John J. York) was a graduate student in college whose life took a bizarre turn when his best friend, Ted, claims to be a werewolf. Eric does not believe him until he sees Ted transform. In self defense, Eric kills his friend, but not before being bitten.

Now, Eric is afflicted by the deadly curse of the Lycanthrope, a condition preceded by the emergence of the pentagram on the palm of his hand. The only way to eradicate the curse is to find and kill the source of the bloodline, Captain Janos Skorzeny (Chuck Connors).

Eric embarks on a cross-country hunt for the evil Skorzeny while being pursued by bounty hunter Alamo Joe Rogan (Lance LeGault) for Ted's murder.

This gives me a total of 154 complete TV Series.

This one excites me... can't wait to watch these again! I haven't seen this show since it originally aired back in the mid '80s. I used to love this show!

I'm in the process of adding  Men of a Certain Age (three seasons)  as it was just announced that the series is ending and not renewing.. Will two seasons suffice??  As I have not seen any episodes at all as TNT being the only service provider didn't do good enough job of selling this series to the proper networks,

as it was not even available on Cable TV in my area.. so have to rely on the available DVD season one only ..

any lovers of this series..?  any feedback?
