In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

Ridiculous, should be way more....

UPC speedtest says 77.39Mb download and 4,41Mb upload, which is about what I pay for...

I'm paying for 20/20.

Looks like I'm near sighted.

Ken,

I never upload.  I shall gladly upload the app for you

I don't think sending per Email to you would be faster.

Maybe not for others, but it might just get it to me sooner.  No biggie, at least now while waiting for the app I can at least download the entire Beatles catalogue from iTunes without having to play those pesky lossless files on my drive.

Pretty much sucks compared to almost everyone else's. But good enough to surf the net and that's about it.

b, your ping is awful but I'd take that upload speed any day of the week.

Ping is so bad, because he seems to use a proxy (take a look at the distance...).

Ouch and double-ouch. DSL is all I can get unless I wish to pay Comcast $10k to run a cable up my driveway.  Installing a phone line up the same distance? Free.  How about a natural gas line? Free.  Must be some seriously nice coax.

My uncle lives so far out in the in the countryside he has his own satellite out the back for his internet. It must be pretty decent as he needs it for running certain aspects of his business when he is at home.

Perhaps maybe it's something less invasive and maybe less expensive to get a decent internet connection where you are.

We researched this heavily and unfortunately none of the providers would work - monthly limits being the most common problem.

FIOS is likely our best hope, maybe in a few years.

These results are more typical.  Not sure what was holding it down earlier.

Of course, they still suck.

Yup!

I've been using FiOS since they wired up my street a few years ago and switched from Comcast - I can tell you that FiOS is much better in terms of data reliability (internet) and video quality (TV).

Downpload speed isn't too bad, it should be 25MB, but my upload speed should be 3.5MB, so I'm just over 50%.
