The credit block is on the front cover,, But the rules are obvisously set up differnatly over Region 1 . I see there is English above the Overview but the overview is not. | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

Question is.. Has there ever been a Slip cover attached to this edition.? If so I never got one. | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. | Posted: | | | | Quoting widescreenforever: Quote: ( I hate these Bi-Lingual packaging ) Terry it's because a good pourcentage of the Canadian population is French (at least 20%). So it's just a question of respect and good business for the industry (cost less to do it in the 2 language, than make two different cover). Not that it's a big deal for me, I read my book, watch my film and watch tv in english, but for the majority of the French Canadian this is a big deal. |

| Posted: | | | | I think part of the problem here is that the rules are a bit schizophrenic on what exactly we're trying to accomplish by profiling these DVDs. The "as credited" rule for credits implies that we're trying to profile exactly what's on the DVD, including typos and errors, and if that's really what we want then "X III: The Last Stand" would fall right in line philosophically.
On the other hand, we have the rule for studios, which explicitly is _not_ as credited, which implies that we're trying to profile data that's going to be useful rather than whatever is on the DVD. If this is really the case, then the title should match the title of the film, except for those rare occasions when there's an explicitly different title on the cover (like "There's Something More About Mary").
Unfortunately, we don't have any guidance on how to reconcile these two disparate philosophies. |

I curious on that as well. That's how I would contribute that cover title, per the rules. Someone else is more than welcome to give that a try. | | | Hal |

Has it occurred to you that things are done for a REASON, while you might not understand the Reason, there is one.
Hal, frankly I still prefer taking the title only from the film itself but....<shrugs> Then I don;t get all worked into a froth over things like possessives. <shrugs again>
