My Thoughts:
Wow. Going in to this movie, i didnt have any expectations at all. Heard alot of good stuff about it, but didnt know what to think. It starts off a bit slow IMO. But it picked up just great. Interesting story to the movie. Wich i enjoyed. A bit different from the other horror movies. (wich is always good imo) And the movie have a bit of twist and turns too, its just not straight ahead - finished. It happens a few things trough the movie that makes you have to keep close attention trough out the movie. I liked how they did the story. I just hoped we would see a bit more of Samuel L Jackson. But on the other hand, Mr. Cusack was just great in this movie! A bit different horror movie that i highly reccomand!

My Thoughts:
I was very interested to watch this movie for a few reasons. Richard Gere in a thriller\suspence? Well, that was a first for me. So that was fun to watch. And the trailer looked very good too. And i know the movie is listed as a thriller, but i would say it is a good mix between a thriller and a suspence movie. And the movie had me interested trough out the whole thing. There was alot of twists in the movie, that i never saw coming. Wich helped alot. Not the typical CIA\FBI movie IMO. The plot\story was quite interesting too. All in all a real good movie that i enjoyed trough out the movie. And it is a movie i would recommand you guys to take a look at. And Richard Gere did a good part aswell.

My Thoughts:
This is supposed to be a BIG norwegian movie, that has been hyped up a quite a bit. The best movie of the year etc. With a strong story etc. And i will have to agree with the story, it was a strong story. But that the movie is\was one of the biggest of the year i dont agree with. Despite liking the story\plot. They failed a bit IMO. The lead actor didnt do a good part at all. You could see he wasnt used to be in front of the camera. And you could see it on the whole guy that he was "reading" his lines from a manus. (no good) And the movie was waay to slow for me. Wich made the story and movie not that beliveble for me. It was a movie that had great potential for me, but they blew it in to many places for me to enjoy it. (sorry)

My Thoughts:

This is one of the movies that was given to me in a box full of DVDs back in April. When Brittany and I decided to watch a movie together this morning I thought this one would be a good choice. Turns out she had seen it before... but this is the first time I ever seen it. We had a right good time watching this one. Found it to be a cute family film. I thought the way they did this film with a police investigation... having different point of views interwoven together to be a very creative way to tell the story. A story that is a fun play on the Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale. I thought they did all the characters great... but I must admit I really got a kick out of Twitchy, the squirrel. He was just hilarious to watch. Both Brittany and I laughed out loud more then once while watching that little guy. A character I didn't like? Has to be that damn singing goat! After seeing him on screen for more then a minute I was ready to do some goat hunting! This is one film I recommend checking out if you get the chance.

My Thoughts:

This (along with Kill Bill: Vol. 2) was a gift I got for my birthday this past month. As you may notice by the rating used... I was given the Canadian DVD Releases. I have heard a lot of good things about this movie... and the trailer looked like a lot of fun. So I think I went into this one with my expectations higher then they should have been. Thankfully in this case that didn't hurt much... as I still enjoyed this one quite a bit. There is certain aspects of the film I have mixed feelings about. And that is more with how the film was made then it was the story. The use of a couple scenes in Black & White... the use of animation for one of the storylines in the film... and finally jumping around in the story's timeline a bit. I am not saying these things are bad... just more of a distraction for me. But at the same time I found them to be fascinating as I never seen them all used in a film before. So while it did seem to be a bit of a distraction... it was also one of the things I did enjoy about the film when looked at as a whole. Confused? Yeah... me too! Over-all I found the entire movie both fascinating and entertaining. I enjoyed every moment of it. Definitely one I would recommend.

My Thoughts:
Holy smokes! What to say about this one? I got a few of those 'After Dark' movies. Some of them are real good, and i saw this one in one of their trailers and looked like a good horror movie. Not a very bloody saw horror movie. But like a psychological one. And wow, i dont know what to say really. It suprised me in any way possible actually. For a "small" movie, they did a lot out of the movie. I guess for a horror movie they it did it part good. Some of the scenes in the movie was very sick and just too out there (IMO) And a bit too sick for my taste. But other then those scenes that they maby shouldnt have shown. It was a good horror movie all in all. The story started of interesting. And it kept me in trough out the movie. But i didnt like the ending of the movie very good. But i guess for a horror movie, it was well done i guess. For the people out there wondering if you wanna watch it or not. Well, if you are a real hardcore horror fan, why not give it a shot. If not. I wouldnt reccomand it!

My Thoughts:
When i first saw the trailer for this movie, i was looking forward to watch it. Looked like an awesome movie. And with big names like Michael Douglas, Antonio Banderas and Ewan McGregor it ofc had the potential to be great. It started of good. But for me it was a bit too much back and forth in time for my taste. I would say the movie is a mix between a spy movie and a Jason Bourne wannabe movie. The story was interesting enough, but it was shifting between going back in time and what happend for a long time ago, and suddenly switch to the present. Can be confusing at times. And with both Banderas AND Douglas i think they could have done alot better. Both Douglas and Banderas had real small parts in the movie. Something i think was a mistake. All in all, an ok movie. But a movie they could have done alot better with. If your not sure if you want to watch it or not. Check out the trailer, and if it looks ok. Give it a try.

My Thoughts:
Well, this was a very interesting movie to say the least! And with a interesting plot\storyline aswell. I enjoyed the movie from almost start to finish. Was a few interesting twists in the movie, wich i appreciated. And the movie kept me in my seat for the whole thing, you didnt know what would happend next kinda. And it was nice that they didnt reveal who was behind everything before the end aswell. In some horror movies you know who the bad guy is before 20 mins. Wasnt like that at all here. And the acting was 'ok' aswell. Could been better, but i didnt complain. Only thing i hope with how the movie ended is that there will be a movie number 2. If not i will be rather disappointed with how it all ended. It gotta come a number 2 sometime i hope. All in all a very good horror movie (IMO) wich i reccomand you to watch.

My Thoughts:
Well, lets just start of by saying that the picture quality and sound quality was just amazing in this movie. Great job well done! And for the movie itself, i enjoyed it quite a bit. The story was ok, nothing too original. Nothing that havent been shown in a horror movie before. But they did a good job with what they had i think. A lot of 'good' gore scenes (as the movie is about) Its not along movie, it lasts for about 1hour and 15 minutes, so i think they do a good job in that short period of time. A few scary parts, and a few suprises in the movie aswell. Cant complain about that. But the things i didnt like was how the movie ended. And there was a few parts they should have used more time to tell the story. But all in all, i enjoyed it. A good horror movie. Wich i recommand for the horror fans out there. As i said nothing a very original story. But i guess in horror almost everything is done by now so. =)

My Thoughts:

I originally saw this one on On-Demand a couple years back. I enjoyed it at the time and was wanting to add it to my collection. Thankfully a friend gave it to me last year for my birthday. I held off re-watching it till now. I still found I enjoyed it quite a bit. Though some of it was gag-worthy. Not gory mind you... just the idea of some of this stuff was pretty stomach turning disgusting. I do have to say the ending was pretty predictable.... but even though I seen it coming I still enjoyed watching it. This is not a movie for serious scares. It is more the "just fun to watch" type of entertainment.

I just finished watching Bridemaids on Cinemax On-Demand. I heard a lot of good things about this movie... but I just don't see it. It actually took work for me to get through this movie. I was not impressed in the least. I found it to be a very unfunny waste of time. I am so glad I watched this movie on On-Demand instead of spending money for the DVD.

Before Bridemaids I watched  Soul Surfer on Starz On-Demand. It is the true story of Bethany Hamilton. The teen surfer that goes on to become a professional surfer... even after a shark attack that took her left arm. This is a fantastic story of an amazing person. I loved every minute of it. This is one I definitely want to add to my collection before too long!

Decided to watch this one this morning. It has been sitting in my unwatched pile since this past September. I had planned to watch it for last year's October horror marathon but never got to it at the time. It's not a bad movie... but I have definitely seen better. The story is not all that original and I did find it a bit on the slow side. But it was worth what I paid... especially since I got my copy used for a cheap $1.64. Other then the people listed above this one also has  another face I am familiar with. Aaron Ashmore is in this film... I know him previously from Smallville... where he played Jimmy Olsen.

This movie was a movie i was looking forward to watch. And it was just a real good movie, with both a very interesting and strong story. I've heard about Margaret Thacther and how she was as a primeminister in the UK. But thats it, so it was very nice and interesting to see how she became the primeminister and how she was as an primeminister. A strong story indeed wich i am glad i watched. But there was alot of time jumps in the movie, wich i didnt like that much. I think they could do without the time jumps in this movie. (but thats me) And i have to just say a quick word about Mery Streep in this movie. WOW what a part she did, very well deserved oscar win IMO. One of her best roles that i've seen anyways. An important movie i would say. I recommand you guys to watch this one.

My Thoughts:
Took me a long time to finally watch the second Kung Fu Panda. And i enjoyed quite a bit! I liked this one a bit better then the first one. A really good continuation imo. Its a real cute movie series that i recommand for everyone to watch! You wont regret And i have to say that the picture and sound quality of the second movie is just amazing! Personally i think its much better then the first movie.

My Rating:
5/6
