I would stick to my 4S, but that battery is really done for. ("I still show 20% power, but let me shut down anyway. Oh you plugged in? See, fooled you, I still have 60% power." and the sorts.)

Replacing the battery on a 4S is actually really easy. The screen? Not so much. I don't think you'll regret the 6 though.

Thanks. I don't really want to do that myself, though. So once I got my 6 completely set up (getting it tomorrow) I will try find a shop (no actual apple shops in Taiwan, just retailers) that will send it in for the exchange. Then I will use the 4S for some basic purposes (music, GPS on the bike, etc.).

Looking forward to the update. Hope the submittal and approval go smooth enough.

I have iPad Air and this app worked perfectly until yesterday when I updated to iOS 8
The app crashes everytime I go to showcase tab and try to change the category on top of the page!

I hope there will be an update very soon

Have same problem - also on ipad mini(2)
Cheers

The app also crashes when you click on reviews.

It would be really nice if like the desktop we get a link to IMDB and Rotten tomatoes. Better option would be to open the IMDB app and the flixister (rotten tomatoe) instead of the browser

Hmmm, think that I read someplace in this forum not to expect much for iOS until they have rolled out the Android app.  Might seem unfair to those of us that did not know before our recent purchase of iOS version. Buyer beware and patient...

Well that would contradict the post earlier in this thread that said plan was to send the app to Apple by now.

Well, the Android app has been updated twice in the last week, so iOS should be out soon I hope.

You've heard wrong.  Ken said earlier in the week (or maybe last week) that he was nearly ready to submit the app to Apple.  In this very thread if I remember correctly.  My understanding is that the process can take around a week to be approved.  And Apple has just released iOS 8, which means LOTS of developers are trying to get their apps submitted to Apple to be updated.  So it might take a short time.  The reason he held off so long on submitting it is that he wanted to have an actual iPhone 6/6 Plus to do his final tests on which meant he had to wait for the devices to be available.  Again, that information is available in this very thread if you'll look back a page or two.

You mean this one?

It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Whoa not an argument just patience and fact:
iOS developers have a protocol to follow as I would be assured that Android does also. It was posted that Anroid app would be released before any updates to iOS app.  That said the Invelos Team released the Android app and as protocol would demand they need to closely monitor the release for crashes and bugs and appropriately submit fixes.  So a new app, first release I can imagine the team is being vigilant handling the Anroid app.
While the Invelos team has submitted the iOS updates, the process with Apple iConnect does not mean an automatic release of the update to the App Store. Developers have a choice to manualy release once the update is approved.
So, I would assume not to over burden the Invelos team and not under estimate their knowledge and ability that they retained the ability to release when they are ready to address crashes and bugs.

Just a question. The DVD Profiler database on the iPhone is in the Backup. So when I restore it on the new iPhone I have also the database again without sync. From 4 to 5 it worked, I had all and the images again. Now I did the update from 5 to 6 Plus. The database is fully here, but no images at all. Is this because it has another biger screen and it must download all images from DVD Profiler again?

Thanks,

Fritz

You need to sync once to restore the images. No idea why that is, but it shouldn't take too long.
