| Posted: | | | | I think we should go by Episode list that is on the cover (if there is one) and/or opening credits.
I wouldnt like changing finnish words to english just for the sake of a standard. If a serie wants to use the word "Part", "Ep", "Episode", "#." or whatever, , we should too. With the exception that if the episode name is too long, it can be shortened.
To separate Episode # and Episode name, colon should be used. If the episode list doesnt display episodes as "#." format, in that case, that format should be used. | | | Last edited: by whispering |

| Posted: | | | | Having Episode in the divider is simply redundant. We already know its an episode!!!
Also, sticking a zero in front of single digits is nothing but prettifying it. Using a colon or a period after the number - don't care, either way is OK.
Note- Since some episode name are quite long, the number stuff should be as short as possible to maximize the space left for entering the actual name. IE.: 3. xxxNamexxx | | | John

(John, what's happening? ) The space in the episode divider gets swallowed up quickly by the episode names. When it comes right down to it, I'd rather have a complete name than either a leading zero or a colon. | | | ...James

3: More Deadly Than the Sword
It's functional without wasting space. |

| Posted: | | | | I agree in principal with Rifter and James, but see one small(ish) issue. Everyone duck... here comes the spanner! What happens if TV credits include "grouped cast" like discussed in this thread. Not seen it yet... but it is gonna happen! In that case how do you distinguish between Episode Divider and a "Grouped Cast" divider? Including "Episode" clearly does that. | | | Andy

Simply another argument not to use dividers for movies... | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |
