All green at the moment. I cannot understand why you still whine even when I gave you a very detailed solution for your problem, more than once. Actually you can't anymore Kulju... Ken changed this quite a while ago. It is now no more then an "alert the Mods" button. I am not sure I can find the post where he told us this... but it has been changed a long time ago. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Kulju,
I hope you got a lot of green arrows for all the helpful advice you gave.
You taught me a few things I didn't know. Thank you. |

What's the point? Why did he changed it? So you can only see greenies? Some people don't like to see pages of negative post... More seriously, I don't see the point of not seeing them either, at least it was a way to know that maybe one of our post was going too far. |

Very mature. Not! Pathetic! Get real, and get serious.
And you are supposed to act in a mature way Stop acting like a drama queen as you usually do and grow up. You got your answer many post ago... Drama queen?! You have no insight into my life and how I feel. And people treating each other badly here is not something new! It's an elitist forum where some like to pat each other on the back. A very damn hostile place. The negatives come out far more than the positives. And you obviously didn't listen when I told you that if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all! Why the hell are you butting in at all here? From here on out, I'll ignore the users that have treated me badly. That is, I'm not going to treat you any better than you treat me. Because you don't deserve any respect from me. Why not give me the damn help I'm asking about to start with and get over YOUR DRAMA first? Calling me names, saying that I'm the one with all the issues and that I'm blaming people. You have no tolerance and no understanding but you really like to act like you're perfect human beings. I'd slap you silly if I could. The ignorance about how you behave is worrisome. Jump from a cliff, bullies. |

| Posted: | | | | I have tried very hard to stay on topic. It seems to me the OP was offered solutions to the problem. But, the majority of this thread I find to be in violation of invelos rules regarding forum decorum. I have used red arrows and hoped the moderators would step in and do what they are supposed to do. But, since neither has had any impact I am going off topic to get a few things off my chest. MikaLove, I'm sorry that you find the forums and the community so unpleasant. But, I'm afraid that I find your attitude and posts to be among the most offensive. I suggest you carefully read over your posts, both in this thread and others. See the posts the way others do. Others might use their words more carefully, but it is often you that outright threatens people, calls them names and is generally disrespectful. For example: Quoting KinoNiki: Quote: Quoting MikaLove:

It's not like I feel like fixing each profile 100% all the time.
But you feel an urgency to "fix" the color? I mean, if you have updated your profile, there's really nothing that forces you to submit it to the online also, especially 200 at a time if you feel that it burdens you so much... I don't see this post as being offensive. There is only a suggestion that would in fact solve your problem. Maybe it could have been worded a bit differently but I don't see anything that should have precipitated the response from you. Quoting MikaLove: Quote:
I often get the feeling that you're on my back. I'm getting tired of your arrogant attitude towards me. If you have nothing nice to say—don't say it at all!
How I'm contributing to the database is frankly not your problem. I feel I have limited time and energy for it, so I'm doing it my way. And any improvement to the DB is welcome.
And I'm fixing the color first, because those are approved immediately. And I can take notes of what other differences there are when I contribute. I'm taking it one thing at a time, but for other changes I will try to correct as much I can. But for color I only change that now. There are no rules that say you must complete a whole profile when you contribute. Or change as much as possible.
Either way, improve on your attitude. I have no patience for your current one. Quoting MikaLove: Quote:

The next thing you do is insult the person. You might have listened to your own bit of advice. Since you didn't have anything nice to say, you shouldn't have said anything at all. Quoting MikaLove: Quote: How I'm contributing to the database is frankly not your problem.
Actually, it is. How you contribute to the online database impacts every single community member who downloads the data of the contributions you make. Quoting MikaLove: Quote: There are no rules that say you must complete a whole profile when you contribute. Or change as much as possible.
Absolutely true. Any and all contributions are welcome since this database relies on the communities input. Quoting MikaLove: Quote: Either way, improve on your attitude. I have no patience for your current one.
Once again I suggest you take your own advice. If you don't want the community to treat you badly then I suggest you not be the first to call people names or threaten them. When you do, you shouldn't be surprised if someone uses your own words against you. Case in point: Quoting Kulju: Quote: Quoting MikaLove:
Quote: I often get the feeling that you're on my back. I'm getting tired of your arrogant attitude towards me. If you have nothing nice to say—don't say it at all! Maybe because your general attitude is very "whiny"?
Quote: How I'm contributing to the database is frankly not your problem. It seems to be a problem for you.
Quote: I feel I have limited time and energy for it, so I'm doing it my way. And any improvement to the DB is welcome. ...or you can learn how to use this program...
Quote: Either way, improve on your attitude. I have no patience for your current one. Same goes for you. Quoting MikaLove: Quote: What's with this unnecessary comment?!
I'm "whiny"??!! Geez. The tolerance from some members here. These comments were directly in response to the ones you directed at others. Tolerance? Where is yours? I feel that you are ready to attack others with little or no provocation. Quoting MikaLove: Quote: There's a difference between asking a simple question and being met by arrogant, intolerant, judging behavior.
Quoting MikaLove: Quote: ... because not only are you defending intolerant behavior between users here, you are also calling me names and insulting my intelligence and personality! Quoting MikaLove: Quote: Disregarding the stupid comments...
Quoting MikaLove: Quote: Why not just post your tips and shut up about things about who I am and how YOU perceive me to be? At least my English is better than yours.
Quoting MikaLove: Quote:
I'm feeling free to give out reddies to those who treat me like crap.
Agreed. But, you should expect the same when you treat others like crap. Quoting MikaLove: Quote: I'd slap you silly if I could. The ignorance about how you behave is worrisome. Jump from a cliff, bullies. Quoting MikaLove: Quote: This forum has had a lot of issues among members where some have gotten a very low reputation, and it seems that a few are out for me as well. But what the hell have I done, huh? I have spent a lot of time on composing this letter trying to show you exactly what. It seems you feel justified in insulting and threatening others over any perceived slights. And then you demand that others give you respect? One can not demand respect, it must be earned. Quoting MikaLove: Quote: Maybe you like to create enemies, or whatever. But you have no business in bullying either me or others. Plus, if you really want a war, I'll give you one, but I prefer to face off in real life, and not behind a keyboard.
Excuse me? A war? More threats? This post in particular I find to be extremely disturbing and offensive. I have tried to use my words very carefully in my comments to you MikaLove. I have re-read my comments several times to be sure that I was not calling you names or insulting you or your intelligence. Hopefully you can gain a little insight into how someone else sees the situation. | | | Last edited: by Kathy |

Seriously like I wrote you are a whiny little drama queen... You don't like it change your attitude. Do you think anyone can take your words seriously when you wrote " if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all!" Quote:
Why the hell are you butting in at all here?
Because it's a public forum and not the kingdom of MikaLove... Quote:
Because you don't deserve any respect from me.
And you think you deserve it from the other members here? You earn respect by your action and words, you don't get it as a magical birth prize. Quote:
Why not give me the damn help I'm asking about to start with and get over YOUR DRAMA first?
Because you got the answer a long time ago and you have even insulted the one who gave it to you. BTW what drama? I couldn't care less about you in real life, but whiny people is something that got on my nerves really fast. Quote:
Calling me names, saying that I'm the one with all the issues and that I'm blaming people.
No I haven't called you names or wrote that you have issue. I wrote that you are a drama queen wich is obviously true considering everything you wrote in that thread and many other ones. Quote:
Jump from a cliff, bullies. If I were you I would delete that part from my post. This is quite insensitive to tell at someone you don't know to kill himself. Of course I won't do it as I'm 42 and I can do the difference between internet and real life, but many don't (by exemple a girl just killed herself very recently in my country because of the same type of message you just wrote here). You want to show you are mature it is an easy thing to do : think before you post anything, don't act like a whiny little princess, don't insult other members who help you (I don't talk about me here) and don't wrote threat that could put you in legal trouble. |

I believe Ken needs to re-think his position on this policy. If posts receive negative feedback the person should know when the community finds their post objectionable. As it is now, the only way to let the poster know which posts violate invelos policy is to let them know via the threads. This results in the thread being derailed. Visible negative feedback will allow one to know which posts the community finds objectionable. And, with this knowledge, gives one the opportunity to change. | | | Last edited: by Kathy |

I'm blocked by a member. I would like to know what post caused it, so I might use it for further forum posts, so I might get blocked by a few others. |
